Took my dogs here tonight to the Lochend field , first off satnav took me to middle moterway and told me we had arrived , second time after coming off moterway and retrying into satnav took me to a dog crematorium , the parks very poorly sign posted and on such a blind back road that when slowing down to turn in the car behind almost went into back of us , FINALLY. Arrived at dog park after phoning and kind women on phone extended our booking for us however while in dog park someone elseās dogs excepted there own park and was running along the back road , then as we are playing with our dogs who are very anxious someone comes into park with there 2 dogs resulting in us having to cut our run short as they donāt get on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBrilliant fields at Gartcosh. We went to the Lochend one. Lots of space and some jumps too. Iād say the only downside is(and I didnāt discover this till I was there) that is is a very uneven field with a few substantial holes in it. I have a dog who loves to chance a ball and I had to be very careful where I was throwing it. Thankfully, we managed to play, injury free, but I probably wouldnāt book this field for her again. I like all the other run free fields and would highly recommend them. I just wouldāve liked to have known how bad it was before visiting. My other dog loved it, lots to sniff and potter...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreField is a bog. Where the one next to it which is also a run free still looks green. Our dog was minging when we left as was car. Was 1st time using. Would pick field next to it next time. The field is very secure so you feel safe with your dog. A couple of things for dogs to jump over etc would make it better too. Also quite a few poos in field. I know. That is not field owners fault as signs are up asking...
