My family and I booked for a Saturday, 12.30 session. It was our first visit and our last. Upon arrival we were told there was a party so if we wanted food we would have over an hour wait from when ordering on the app. If they know they are going to be busy they should prepare ahead of schedule, it is a booking system after all. I took my additional needs grandson who is 3 into the under 5s area. For his first time I went on the slide with him. He cannot walk or communicate properly. On the slide a child roughly 6/7 came directly behind me unsupervised, kicking me hard repeatedly in the back. There was an adult male running up the main blue slide so naturally children began to follow suit. After speaking to a member of staff, I was told that itβs not there job to supervise the children - true, however, there was little encouragement for parents to supervise there children. It was so loud in there you could not hear the speaker system announcement. We ordered food. It was extremely overpriced, however it was lovely. We were not impressed however when a member of staff started hoovering by our feet and round our table whilst sat there. My husband and daughter also used there toilet facilities but were both horrified in the cleanliness of them. They donβt appear to check them regularly and they werenβt signed to say they had been checked through out the day. We shall not...
Β Β Β Read moreThis is a Play Centre which has many fine values ie.excellent value for money with the entrance meal deal. Good quality food with pleasant staff. Plenty of play equipment although looking rather tired. This is far outweighed however by the inconsiderate adults who regularly visit with their children who they choose to let run wild with no consideration for others. Today there were at least a dozen children with no socks thereby enabling them to run up the slides causing havoc and creating a safety hazard. These same children were seen kicking balls, from the enclosed football area, around the tables where people were eating. Finally they were seen taking lego from the designated area and scattering throughout the building. The RESPONSIBLE ADULTS for these children were too busy gossiping over a drink and at no time choose to supervise their unruly children. To the management of the Eden Centre I suggest that you enforce the rules which you display throughout SOCKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT...

Pros: Large centre Well laid out and clean Good range of activities Great idea for using wristbands linked to a receipt for parents so you can track children entering/exiting Good use of extra-value with a creation and Education Centre Has a Lego Creation/Education Centre - seperate but linked, which focusses on robotics (ace idea) good baby cleaning facilities that had air fresher, wipes and nappy sacks as complimentary extras
Cons: Music was played way too loud, but at least that drowned the noise of the children, still a bit irritating for adults
Note Bene: So I have a few soft play centres to review, the length of the reviews will vary based on my experience, but for some there is just an itemised summary which is less in keeping with my usual reviews but based on the number of places I...
