For those like me who love an adventure this was an interesting place to find. I tried following the instructions given by others who have visited this place but spent 40 mins looking for this place. It was worth it after all. I will now tell you how to get there in less than 3 minutes. Park at Allensford Park. Walk out of the car park and turn right and go to the T-Junction. Cross over to the other side and turn right, walk about a minute until you see the black gates on your left in a small alleyway, follow the black gates and keep following the path even after the black gates stop, you will a red sign with 137 on it on your right, don't go towards it (I nearly gave up here), just keep following the path and at the end of this path you will see what...

This was a lovely find that even the person who owns our holiday cottage didn't know about. It's a short walk but beware the first stretch is quite muddy. Then you will find a lovely little bridge before the gorgeous waterfall surrounded by rocks comes into view. If you keep asking past this you will find yourself alongside a wide river. It's a short walk overall. Park at the park car park, cross the main road and take the 'public path' sign slightly to the right - you'll see it from the junction of...

A great place to visit and get some fresh air. The main walkway provides a good flat footpath which can be pretty busy at times with a variety of users. Not too difficult to find a bit quieter part of the walkway. Loops from the main track take you through some beautiful woods which are carpeted with a succession of wildflower species in the spring. The dogs...

Stunning scenery when we eventually found it πŸ˜… google maps tries to take you onto private property. In the end we parked in allensford park and there is a public pathway straight over which takes you dire try to the waterfall. The waterfall is amazing and tou can get right up close to it. Will deffo go back again.
