It sounds like you had a fantastic time at Winterton-on-Sea beach! Here's a very positive Google review for you in English: Absolutely Stunning Winterton-on-Sea! Winterton-on-Sea beach is an absolute gem and truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever visited! From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by miles of pristine, soft golden sand that feels wonderful underfoot. It's incredibly spacious and uncrowded, even on a sunny day, which makes for a wonderfully relaxing experience. The dunes are simply breathtaking – a natural wonderland perfect for exploring and offering incredible views out to sea. We loved watching the seals bobbing in the water; it was such a magical sight! The water is clean and inviting, perfect for a paddle or a swim on a warm day. Whether you're looking for a peaceful stroll, a place for the kids to run wild, or simply somewhere to sit and enjoy the incredible natural beauty, Winterton-on-Sea delivers in spades. It's a truly unspoiled paradise that feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle. Highly, highly recommend a visit – you won't be...
Read moreOur favourite beach in the area! We’ve been visiting for a year now so have seen it in all seasons.
Summer time it’s packed with families having fun and swimming, in the winter it’s just us and some other dog walkers. Make sure to play ‘spot the seal’, they will bob their heads out the water and stare right at you. Around Christmas time is when the baby seals are born and you can’t access the beach then, but lovely to watch them from the sand dunes up the top.
So sad to see a storm has eroded away huge amounts of the cliff into the parking area, but there are parking and toilet facilities so you can spend the day in the summer. There is usually a coffee and lunch van by the beach, as well as a shop and fish & chips etc a short walk into Winterton.
It’s also quite nice to run on, we did 4 miles last summer, just stick closer to the water so it’s...
Read moreHuge beach (sand and pebbles) which we visited during a really busy hot August day. Plenty of room for everyone, especially if you walk along the dunes and down onto the beach rather than going right where the cafe is. Public toilets are decent next to the cafe. We took a picnic lunch, so we didn't go to the cafe, but it looked nice. Short queue for carpark but we got in within ten mins and paid £7 to park all day. It was £1.50 an hour and we actually stayed five hours so got our monies worth doing the all day option. We even had a seal swimming in the sea when we were in it! The sea has some nice parts and some which are a bit rougher so look to see where every one else is swimming. Quite a lot of...
