A hidden gem, St Deiniol's Church is adjacent to Gladstone's Library in Hawarden. The church is open to all visitors during the day, and feels very welcoming. Inside you get a feeling of peace and calm, the stained glass windows are delightful. The tomb of Gladstone and his wife is remarkable and a lovely commemoration to a great man. The local Men's shed has an exhibit of a model of the church they created - worth a look.
