Swallows Wood — Attraction in High Peak

This is a really nice place. Could do with a proper car park. You can park in the fisheries however, vague information from main road. The fisheries has a nice looking cafe overlooking the reservoir. Probably around a two mile circular walk taking in the green pastures and mixed woodland. Plenty of benches to have a picnic on and clear running streams for dogs to play. Wellies in winter and walking boots in summer. No poo fairy here,...
