Read morePerfect dog walk when it's sunny 🌞 can dip in & out of the enchanting forest too & get some shade. Frequent waste bins for doggy doodoo. Lovely beach/coastal path which is suitable for prams/wheelchairs. Think there is a bacon roll van there at weekends. There is a war memorial & lots of benches & picnic tables. The toilets were locked when we went in mid-week, mid-September and there was a large map on the wall for info. Parking was free and plenty of it at this time. There is a cafe there, but we took a packed lunch with us to keep costs low. Nice walk and much less exposed to the elements in the forest than on the headland - we even spotted a red squirrel! If the toilets had been open, this would have been a five...
