I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt this one was well and truly deserved. While enjoying a spontaneous pit stop at Wildflowers Café with my other half, we were genuinely impressed by both the quality of the food and the warmth of the staff.

First off, the menu was full of tempting options that made choosing quite the challenge (in the best way!). When the food arrived, it was absolutely delicious! And the tea was just the thing we needed.

What really stood out, though, was the service. While we were there, we noticed one member of staff, I think her name was Maisy, who was especially lovely. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. We happened to see her chatting with an elderly gentleman who had come in hoping for breakfast, not realising he’d missed the breakfast window. Maisy didn’t brush him off or make him feel awkward. Instead, she spoke to him with such kindness and respect; it was genuinely heartwarming to watch. You could see she had won him over with her smile. It added a real human touch to our visit, and it made the whole experience that bit more special. All in all, Wildflowers Café is a little gem in Holyhead! We’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend a visit if you’re...

We called in here after a walk around as I had read the other reviews and thought it sounded worth trying. I was not disappointed, as the weather was very changeable we opted to sit inside rather than at one of many outside spots in the garden. Immediately on entering we found ourselves in a charming, tiny room with a counter area and attractive original fireplace. We checked we were ok to come in with our dog and both the girls at the counter affirmed we could. We went into a small room with three tables and looked at the menu which, considering the size of the place (everything is tiny) was very extensive. I opted for Barra Brith and a latte while my partner went for Welsh Rarebit and a loaded hot chocolate. Whilst we were there, the owner, Claire, came in to give our dog a fuss and brought her a bowl of water and a few treats. She sat and chatted about dogs for a while until other customers came in needing her attention. We enjoyed our visit to Coffee Cups, we both enjoyed what we had, everyone there were very friendly and we will definitely make a return visit whilst...

I believe this is charity run. The two young girls were doing there best on the desk but looked tired and stressed. The lady in kitchen was over stretched and very loud, shouting from kitchen to the girls and then running into rooms to grab plates from window sills or food from fridge in reception. Didn't give a relaxing atmosphere. The place could do with some simple additions. Spoons with numbers on given to the customer would allow staff to know who's order belonged to who. Our food took along time to come through because it was a little disorganised. Our order also came out wrong again due to disorganisation. We asked for a particular sandwich and got the wrong order. We didn't say anything because we were hungry and wanted to get moving. But should we have had an allergy it could have been a bigger issue. Its a cute little place. With a bit of tlc and some little additions to organise the ordering system better it would be spot on. I do wish them all well and hope they receive this as constructive comments so they can evolve...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem with a Big Heart! Wild Flowers Cafe is an absolute delight! Nestled in the beautifully restored old Toll House, perfectly located between Holyhead and Valley just off the Cob, it’s the perfect pit stop whether you’re out for a scenic walk or heading out for the day. This charming, family-run cafe has such a welcoming vibe, you can really feel the care and love that’s gone into it. They serve Tea, Coffee with a great selection of hot and cold food, once fully up and running they will have hearty breakfasts to fresh, tasty lunches, all made with real attention to quality. What makes it even more special is how pet-friendly they are (our dog loved it!) and the brilliant outdoor play area that kept the kids entertained for ages. It’s rare to find somewhere that caters so well to everyone. Please do come support this lovely little place on their journey, you won’t be disappointed!

What an absolute gem of a place we stumbled across yesterday, newly refurbished the cafe is located in a small ex toll building ( back in the day you had to pay to use the road into Holy Island and this is the building you would pay the toll ……. Ask them about it it’s a really interesting bit of history I had a delicious kimchi egg and mushroom open sandwich and a latte. (Eggs perfectly poached) I received excellent service from attentive and friendly people who I felt genuinely wanted you to have the best experience possible. Inside isn’t big ( we sat in the snug) so be prepared to sit outside or wait a while for a table but this adds to the cafes charm and must not be read as a criticism. Holyhead is on the up and the Wildflower cafe is shining example of this …….. thank you everyone for a fab u lus experience
