Stour Valley Nature Reserve is a lovely spot for nature lovers. It’s full of greenery, with a beautiful river and plenty of space for a quiet, relaxing evening walk. You’ll also see a few people cycling or fishing, which adds to the calm atmosphere.

However, some areas are unfortunately polluted with plastic bottles, and the river water isn’t as clean as it could be. Still, it’s a peaceful place to unwind and enjoy...

Beautiful place for a walk. Gravel paths all along the river from Kinson to Holdenhurst and beyond. Always busy with dog walkers and there's easy access to the river for a paddle. There is a small car park too and road parking if it's full. The nearby barn has a small cafe and runs activities for kids to explore nature. We've seen otters in the river and herons as well. Just beware the path gets very muddy...
