Jackhouse Nature Reserve — Attraction in Hyndburn

A decent nature reserve which takes about 20-30 minutes to walk around. It's a woodlands path that does get muddy so bring walking boots if you plan on getting close to the waterfalls.

Note that there's no parking, and the place is surrounded by private roads.

Unfortunately there's a fair bit of litter at the reserve, even though there's a bin at the entrance, and our experience was hindered by a group of individuals kayaking on the reserve whilst screaming at each other, which could be heard from all directions...

This place is a little gem, I followed Google Maps to a dead end, park on the main road and don't drive down Pot House Lane 🙈 Its not a long walk around the water but it's a beautiful walk, because you can't park close its probably not a great choice if you have young children...
