Visited Kidwelly Quay last week as I was looking for somewhere nice to walk. I wasn't disappointed. The parking is free which allows you to explore as much as you want. There are different routes to follow and these are clearly signposted, the coastal path was my favourite as it went all around the Quay and really gave you beautiful views on your walk. Dogs are allowed which is a huge plus as they love it here, lots of smellies and space for them. Lots of benches to sit on up at the main Quay near the car park if you want to rest your legs a little. Would have given it one more star if there was a little cafe, as I think that would be nice to have a cuppa after...

It would have been a lovely walk with the family had it not been for the amount of dogs mess we had to dodge constantly along the canal. Absolutely disgusting and I rolled the babies pushchair through some which made me feel sick. Other than that it could be a beautiful place to spot wildlife, we saw so many types of birds on the water and in the trees. If the area was looked after better it could easily have gotten 5 stars. It’s a shame some people can’t be bothered to clean up after their pets and ruin a place for...

Only short visit so far, so bit early to make good judgement. The weather was somewhat inclement but it was enjoyable despite that. The mix of wetland/marshland habitat is great for birdlife. Wish I had brought my binoculars! Still saw swans, shelducks and little egret. Can't wait to go on a calm sunny day, to just sit and watch. Good but small car park, with no obvious amenities. There are many flat gravel and grassy paths to explore. Looking forward to...

What an out of the way peaceful spot, excluding the odd train that trundles by over the bridge, it's lovely to sit on one of the many benches and listen to the birds. Bit of a wind through a residential area, and avoid school times morning and evening. Plenty of free parking, which is good as it appears very popular with the locals, and their dogs.
