Possibly more one for the dog walkers. A pleasing little sandy beach hemmed in by a ruggedly beautiful harbour wall. Fine beach for kids to play on. Wall excellent for (wistfully) gazing seaward - deep in thought (absorbing the salt through your skin). Kids like scrambling here too - amidst the carcasses of some WWII fortifications. Recently we all got excited when whales wanted to play here also. I have a photo of here framed on my wall (under a brooding sky). Read moreWe sit down on the beach by Kinghorn Lifeboat Station regularly. A lovely little bay with a small shop (The Wee Shop) which iz open more or less 365 days a year. Alex sells Burgers, Rolls, Cakes, Hot & Cold Drinks, Ice Cream, Lollies etc. He has a few tables and chairs outside where you can sit and watch the kids and watch the ships go up abd down th Firth of Forth.
