Went to Pells Pool on 05/08/24 for the 12-3 session with my partner & 3 kids. Had to book online, if you leave it too late tickets will sell out, recommend booking in advance. Did not have to wait too long to come in.

Impressed with price of tickets, total value for money.

Pool was large & lovely, plenty of space to swim, lifeguards do their job well & not overzealous on the whistle.

Grassed area was good too, not too overcrowded, few picnic benches. You're allowed to bring your own deck chairs, blankets, picnics etc.

Small pool for babies & toddlers to keep cool.

All Staff seemed to be polite & welcoming.

Pells pool is relatively easy to get to, train station not too far away. Small Car park located just a few minutes walk away, £1.90 for the day.

My only downside if have to say is that I would have liked the paddling pool for toddlers & babies area to be a bit more exciting for smaller children, to maybe add a small slide and/or water fountains etc.
