A fantastic open space, right on the outskirts of Lincoln City. 3x parking spaces off Long Leys Rd, but plenty more on the opposite side if you utilise the Grandstand parking (4hrs) off Carholme Rd or the car park a little further along by the Golf club. Horses roam free so watch for random piles of poo, or other smaller but more offensive piles left by (some) inconsiderate dog walkers. Watch out, some areas can be very wet and soft underfoot, even some time after rain, but generally its easy walking and a pleasant circular walk all the way round the outside, from wherever you start. No children's play equipment is possibly the...

Please don't feed horses that do not belong to you. Not only can it cause harm to the horses but also poses a risk to members of the public...
Read moreA beautiful open common that is perfect to watch the sunrise/sunset/moonrise from in the city centre. Truly lovely throughout the year. There are plenty of wildflowers and you can often spot birds of prey circling over the common - as well as the occasional roe deer. There is a decent and accessible path throughout the centre of the common, however, this is the only established path throughout it. It can also get boggy in wet weather...
