We decided to visit Lincoln for our wedding anniversary as its somewhere we both love. We arrived on Friday evening, and were greeted by Donna, (the pub was very busy as it was England/Scotland game) but she personally showed us to our room explained everything and answered any questions for us, she even reserved us a table for later that evening after we'd wondered down the the marina for food. We had a drink in a back room away from the football. Read moreFound this little gem and so glad we did.||Our room was lovely, a good size, nicely decorated and a very comfy bed.||Big bathroom with a great shower and plenty of towels. Everything was spotlessly clean. ||Parking the car was easy (and free), the staff are lovely and couldn’t be more helpful.||The pub itself is brilliant, some proper characters in there and very good prices in the bar; I actually asked the barman if he’d charged us enough on our first round as it was very cheap!||It’s about 15 minutes walk into town or £6.50 in a taxi.||All in all, a brilliant stay and if visiting Lincoln again would definitely...
Read moreWe stayed for three nights in a small annexed terrace ground floor room with ensuite next to the pub. The room was basic but comfortable and had all amenities - TV, WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities etc. The pub is in a quiet residential area and only 10 minutes walk from the docklands area of Lincoln. Altho' no breakfast is provided there's a lovely cafe on West Parade called Anna's Place where we ate both mornings. Also does excellent coffee.
