I was nearby and looking for somewhere to go for a walk. I had a look and found this place had a few good reviews, so I stuck it on my maps and headed here.

The reviews said that the car park was always full - I arrived on a warm Saturday afternoon and there was one car other than mine (which was handy)

The walk is not well signposted at all, I was following the map on my phone to see if I could find it - then when I did, it wasn’t as good as anticipated. Just a long gravel path. Did get to see some planes coming in to land at the airport though, which was fun

It wasn’t a bad place to visit - but I wouldn’t make the trip to come here especially, but worth a little walk if you’re in the...

It's ok and clearly appreciated by the local community but the road is pretty run down with potholes. It's accessible by car only with a key to a padlock -suspect only the yacht club at the end and the police have the key. A bunch of industrial sites flank it on one side. The other is overgrown with weeds. The road has the feel of a disused runway gone ferral and my suspicion is it probably isn't safe after dark. Boy racer on a dirt bike spotted charging down the road with a young blond on the back neither wearing a helmet (cute but no sense) and disguarded waste around. A waste of a potentially great...

By Liverpool Airport, there is a small car park with cctv and go can walk straight onto coastal path. Used mainly by dog walkers so you have to watch where you are walking as not everyone picks up after their dogs. If there were bins along the way it may encourage people. Fabulous view of river and Wirral, on a good day you can see Welsh Mountain range. Ground on path is rough and you have to be careful where you place your feet due to rabbit holes etc. Calm and peaceful when there are no planes arriving and taking off. Popular for...

We absolutely love it here. But I feel like every time we visit there is less and less of it, with the land being taken for warehouses and distribution centres. Such a shame as there is so much wildlife here. We need to protect what is left of it so animals and people can continue to enjoy it. You can walk for hours here and explore so many different types of habitat. Excellent for bird watching! But there are many other critters here too. There's also now a bin in the carpark, so please clean up after your dogs 👍

Visited on the off chance and found it a very peaceful walk with great views of the sea. There's the main walking route with very wide paths or you can venture off slightly with little walkways through the grasslands which can make things more interesting. Some free parking is available although where we parked there was no more than 15 spaces available. They are all unmarked so people waste the spaces. Only a couple of pictures taken but a good place to walk the dog or just for a stroll. Happy walking!
