Lovely during late-April and May when Tue bluebells are in bloom. Plenty of dog walkers and families out and about.
Others have mentioned the proximity of the café which is cute (note there is no inside seating) and if you need to drive people seemed to park on the residential streets to the north, but it is only a 20 minute walk from Wanstead station on the Central line.

Read more14th April 2024. Bluebells season. I was here with my wife on a Sunday morning. We loved the views and took plenty of photos. This area got very busy towards noon. The online information asks all visitors to stick to footpaths as stepping on these beautiful plants destroys them for nearly forever! Please keep dogs on leads and stick to the footpaths so we all can enjoy these views in early April...
