It is marvelous that Headstone Manor has survived so long having been originally built about 1310 AD & gradually surrounded to sit in what is now suburbia. Not only is there the museum to see inside the Manor House but also one can experience a short film show & read about the area dating from past times in the nearby Small Barn. This sits near to the bridge which spans the moat encircling the Manor House & it's garden . Also outside the moat is the hugely impressive Great Barn dating from 500 years ago. I can remember attending Celidhs there some 50 years ago but now it is not generally open except on the odd special occasion or so . It is for hire only, often hosting wedding parties. Nearby is the Granary , generally used as a school learning centre. Apart from exploring the actual structure of The Manor House which has evolved over the centuries , there are permanent exhibits & several different exhibitions staged throughout the year plus workshops & talks. Pleasant gardens & the moat is well filled with water & supports a variety of waterfowl. The excellent Moat Cafe is nearby with seating inside & outside. Drinks & snacks available. Excellent , clean toilet in both the cafe...

Our local park where we absolutely enjoy with the kids playing in good facilities. Well taken care of and maintained. It's very big to the extent you can have nice picnics under large trees for shelter and shade. I used to play tennis in this park in my younger days but these unfortunately haven't been maintained. There is a lovely moat (water body) going around the museum/barn and a lovely location for ducks and other birds. Recently a large space was used for apple and pear orchards. Lots to explore. There is a local barn cafe that serves hot food/ drinks and ice cream. A cricket ground can be appreciated by watching a Sunday match. There is a local park gym next to the children's park and a small area for basketball. The car park is big enough that you will always find space except for event days. Highly recommended. Quaint...

Honestly our wedding day couldn't have been any better at this beautiful venue! Such a memorable day with all our loving friends and family!! I can not thank the amazing wedding team for giving us the wedding of our dreams!! Everything on the day planned out just as how we wanted and we received endless compliments of how the wedding turned out!! All we got from our guests was "what a beautiful venue, vey unique to the weddings we have been to" Once again thank you soooo much for bringing our vision of our civil wedding and reception to life!! Still get goosebumps looking at all the videos and pictures taken on the day!! I must say your future clients are very lucky to have you and your wonderful team as event planners, you are such a wonderful asset to the team Kathryn! Wish you and your team all the very best!!

Love,...
