I love this place to walk my dogs. Big dog walking park (about 90% users are dog walkers) Lots of different walks. Wildlife in abundance. Friendly people and again lots of doggies. It's a shame the cafe is not dog friendly and the staff treat dog owners with contempt. Food and drink is overpriced. You cant even take dogs inside anymore to order food or drink. The side window is only open to dog owners if the staff can be bothered and they have made it very clear that indoor customers (non dog owners) are the priority queue when ordering. Toilet facilities are separate male and female and looked after by a lovely cleaner who is the only nice member of staff there. Outside seating is available for dog owners but there is no shelter from the elements and the picnic tables are either missing seats or falling apart. Cafe open when they feel like it. It does have a shop but it is ridiculously expensive and always empty. Space could be used to make room inside for dog owners. Parking is free but can get busy. Only problems being is there are not allocated spaces so some drivers can be very selfish (especially on the the walking clubs days)and some cyclists are very fast and not considerate of people or animals abilities to move out the way quickly on the paths. Park only gets 3 stars because of the cafe could be 5 stars if cafe attitude changes.

Hornchurch country park is lovely for joggers, dog walkers and cycling. The paths are shared, so care is needed when cycling. If you looks closely you will find history showing the true origin of hornchurch airfield. Another one of my favourite places to go in Havering! There is a lot to do here for everyone and the classic Albyns Farm is only a 5 minute walk. There is also a cafe but it closes around 4 or 5 but mostly it is great and the perfect place to go on a day out Lovely visitors centre, shop, cafe & toilets. Very clean, covid safe and welcoming. Tarmac path suitable for mud free walking, buggies, wheelchairs & cyclists. Good signage, includes information on how to avoid the hill. Lots of benches, picnic tables and litter bins. Then there's the nature! Lots of side paths to go off piste and explore a huge area. The playground is interesting with traditional and adventurous equipment. Look out for pieces of history - remnants from the war, plus a lovely memorial to RAF Hornchurch.

A friend took me there and as soon as I walked in I saw so many people camping there but it was to do with the races those people came from all over the Europe. We carried on walking all the way to the other end where we saw London skyline it's almost 360° view when you get to that end. There is also a cycling route that goes across Thames it's so beautiful. I don't have words to say how beautiful it is so I will attach all those pictures I took with my normal phone camera but still they came out breathtakingly beautiful

I led a social bike ride through this lovely park during the May Day weekend, and all of us loved the place. We were following the Sustrans Route 136, which runs the entire length of the park from Upminster to Rainham and it is beautiful. I was particularly impressed how happy everyone seems, and we were greeted by smiles and waves from all the people we passed, and even the dogs were friendly. I want to return very soon, as we passed a lot of tempting trails to either side, so there's a lot we haven't seen yet - including the café. This looks great, with lots of outdoor seating - very important in these interesting times - and the aroma of fresh coffee ALMOST prompted us to stop. We had only just left Upminster, so the majority of participants decided to press on - we'll make up for...
