Read moreUsed to be a regular visitor and used to love this place however they have very recently without warning stopped allowing dogs in the cafe even when it is pouring down with rain outside. This is a massive dog walking park but they seem to be anti dogs and hold dog owners in contempt. Won't be visiting again until dogs are allowed back inside the cafe. Plenty of room to make a dog friendly area inside especially if they got rid of the overpriced shop that no one uses. Staff don't seem to like to work. They have sandwiches, cakes, biscuits ice cream etc. Real coffee herbal teas soft drinks etc. There are plenty of tables and chairs inside plus outside. Adjoining the cafe is the visitor centre shop selling local produce from Hornchurch and Essex. I bought honey organic lip balm and two tins with a spitfire on one containing mints the other shortbread as gifts for some American friends who loved them. Staff extremely helpful and if you ask will give you a map of the park so you can follow the different tracks and not get lost.
