Essex Wildlife Trust Ingrebourne Nature Discovery Centre — Attraction in London

Ok a bit pricey though , we belong to Havering joggers 90 running club and over 200 of us love The Palace in The Park that is Harrow Lodge Park in Hornchurch Essex RM12 open every day food all day from 8.30am to 5.30pm but steer clear of Saturday mornings from 9.30 am when it is jammed packed with hungry and thirsty joggers Alie and his Family have run it now for 2 years lovely family and great atmosphere before Allie the place was run down ,just ask Havering Council , it has resurrected the area . We are all lost when he takes 2 weeks annual holiday, give it a try a. frequent bus service 248 from Romford to park or drive into part and enjoy the lake and different habitat on lake and take one of Allies boat for a spin ,sit outside on the new patio and enjoy maybe with one of Allies delicious ice creams we give 10 X 12 stars to this you won't be...

Used to be a regular visitor and used to love this place however they have very recently without warning stopped allowing dogs in the cafe even when it is pouring down with rain outside. This is a massive dog walking park but they seem to be anti dogs and hold dog owners in contempt. Won't be visiting again until dogs are allowed back inside the cafe. Plenty of room to make a dog friendly area inside especially if they got rid of the overpriced shop that no one uses. Staff don't seem to like to work. It used to be packed and now it is a ghost town. Staff can sit around and do nothing again. Only nice member of staff is cleaning lady. Great place to sit relax have a drink or something to eat. They have sandwiches, cakes, biscuits ice cream etc. Real coffee herbal teas soft drinks etc. There are plenty of tables and chairs inside plus outside. Adjoining the cafe is the visitor centre shop selling local produce from Hornchurch and Essex. I bought honey organic lip balm and two tins with a spitfire on one containing mints the other shortbread as gifts for some American friends who loved them. Staff extremely helpful and if you ask will give you a map of the park so you can follow the different tracks and not get lost.
