Great park if you want a large park to run your littleone or dog to run around in. The cafe while has a great offering , looks like it struggles to deliver their promise. The girls do their best to run it, for their age but are firefighting demand for a fair selection of drinks, breakfasts and menu meals. No alcoholic drinks but it is a park right! There is a small enclosed play area of wooden walk across items(best I can describe it) but no swings or slides, that I could find. 2 stars off for the owners not giving the staff an extra body during peak hours, eg Saturday and Sunday. Good for children in that its not a big walk (less than hour) but don't expect swings etc. Didnt visit the cafe but large indoor and outdoor dining area with toilets etc. Decent car park with some tarmacadam paths for buggies etc around central area but limited. Path takes you to past the entrance to the GC and brings you back to the Cafe. Allow good hour. Cafe is expensive £11.00 for two very average bacon rolls (no drinks!??) Would knock off a star for this but review...

It also has a wonderful cafe and there might be other stuff happening at different times of the year. Make sure you have time to walk around the outside, its a treat on...
