Victoria Recreation Ground — Attraction in London

A lovely open area with plenty of space for picnics under the trees, and for the kids to kick a foot ball around etc, there are child friendly playgrounds for both your younger children and older children away from each other, the playground for the younger children is very user friendly with soft surfaces underfoot and fun things to keep them amused and all are in new condition, the older children playground area is near to the communal adult gym equipment, a bus stops right outside the entrance to the park, there is a lovely new Sports centre located in the park too it has two pools one for infants waist deep on an adult and very warm the other pool has 6 lanes 25 meters long with a seated viewing, the pools has a modern filtration system including ultra violate light which helps to reduces the amount of chemicals used in the pool so your not hit in the face by the smell of chorine and ideal if your skin is sensitive to pool chemicals, there is a gym and large weight room with loads of equipment, a studio work out area for classes such as dance based excise and yoga with a sprung floor which helps reduce impact on your feet and joints making it pleasant to use there is a café and seating are and library and outside tennis courts and 5 and 7 aside foot ball hockey etc all weather courts, in...

There is a problem in this park with out of control and aggressive dogs and abusive owners who will not put aggressive dogs on leads. This is a family park with many young children and this time of year school children doing sports activities. There will be a serious incident before long if the council don't get on top of this. Always loved Victoria Park, now it looks really good, the kids playground is amazing and facilities look really good eg leisure centre, swimming pool, not been in leisure centre as we don't live in local area anymore, but my daughter loved the playground and the park...
