Horrific experience, me and my partner booked to go on the big swing and even rang up to ask about it as we didn’t get any email to confirm our booking and the person on the phone said yep all good come on down, so we made the 1 hour long trip to get there and we arrived 1 hour early when we only needed to be 30 minutes early for our talk about the ride and we are so exited to do the swing and went to check in and there was no one on the desk so we were just hanging around for 20 and still no one came to the desk so we asked one of the few members of staff that we are here for the swing and she said sorry the swing is shut and pointed us in the direction of the caffe and she said we get a go on the go carts and the zip line yet we got there and were told we couldn’t go on the go carts as we were to late to get on the next slot, yet that wouldn’t have happened if the staff were more organised and didn’t have us waiting around for 20 minutes, we were allowed 2 goes on the zip line instead so we went there got all harnessed up and ready to get on then were made to step on scales and my partner was a little over the weight limit and we’re told it should be ok because they are lenient with the weight limit but they came back and said we can’t go on it. The staff then told us we can get a refund on our swing ride but if we knew it was shut before we left we would have canceled it anyway, we wasted 2 hours of driving and fuel wasted just to get played around by the young staff there who have no communication with one another and we were told we could maybe get a voucher but that is no good to us as we don’t live here so it ruined a day of holiday for us and caused us a huge was of money of fuel. Overall I am terribly disappointed on how awful the organisation, communication and overall experience was. would...

As a large group celebrating an 18th Birthday we arrived early and set up our spot for the day by the water. Lots of parking on a Saturday in May (both the top and bottom car park) and seemed to be the same all day despite it being a warm and sunny day. We had all the activities booked for various members of our groups and were impressed by them all. Karting was fantastic for all the ages from aged 8 to 72. The teens booked a 2nd session later in the day as they loved it so much. Aquapark was great fun for all ages, wetsuits were really good quality and 45 mins was plenty of time, we were all exhausted. Zip line was daunting, but do it. The young staff members make you feel so safe with the clear instructions and freindly manner. Wife and daughter did the swing and they were petrified. We bought the video of this and worth every penny. Been laughing at it ever since. Axe throwing was enjoyed by the older members who couldn't face the heights!! Yes there is some walking involved to get to the different activity sites but nothing more than 10 minutes...just embrace and enjoy it. Its a beautiful site set in a beatiful county and at no point do you feel like the hard sell is being given. Top marks to all the staff. Despite their young age and the huge responsibility of keeping everyone safe they still allowed everyone to enjoy themselves and always had a smile on their face. Well done everyone. We...

What a brilliant place for all the family. We visited on 12.06.24 and paid to do the Zip Line and Aqua Park.

Zip line was great fun, staff excellent and reassuring throughout, especially with younger kids (My Son is 8 and is quite an anxious boy) Staff took time to explain process and really emphasise safety to him.

The Aqua Park was just an awesome (and very fun) experience - again, really positive safety briefs. They provide wetsuits and safety vests which are of good quality. The obstacles on the water are great fun with places to slide, climb and jump if you want. Staff are in and around the water at all times which is reassuring.

I want to mention Jacob who was working when we visited - my 8 year is quite nervous around other people and when doing something new - Jacob saw this and spent time with him, reassuring him and encouraging him until he got into the water. After that, Jacob made sure he spoke to my Son every time he saw him in the water and on the obstacles, something I really appreciated as a parent and my Son really got a kick out of it as well - so big thank you to Jacob. He’s a credit to the place and exactly the type of person you need working there.

100% recommend this as a half or full day out, lots of other activities (Go-Karting, gravity swing, axe throwing) we just didn’t have time to do. There’s also a place for hot / cold drinks and food.

Would definitely re-visit...

We had an amazing day here back in the summer. Good for a wide range of ages. We ranged from 11-45 and all enjoyed it greatly. Staff were great helpful and very patient with a very nervous participate on the zip wire lol. The actual inflatables were a blast. Great fun if not a little frustrating for me at times (very slippery) not that the children seemed to have a problem getting on and jumping off at will, which just added to my frustration at ‘getting on a bit now’ as my partner liked to remind me!! 🙄. The picnic area was very clean and well maintained, although a few extra picnic tables wouldn’t go amiss. The shop and wet suit hire hut had just been build when we were here. The shop was well stocked. With the ice creams going down very well. The only criticism I can think of from our visit was the car park wasn’t the biggest. Luckily we arrived fairly early so parking wasn’t a problem but the small car park seemed to fill up very quickly and not sure there was enough parking for the number of people booked on in each session. Having said that they seemed to developing the site/attraction very quickly and (and thoughtfully I might add) so I’m sure this small problem will be resolved as improvements continue and may have already been done. We’ll find out come the summer. We as a family had a really great time here. And plan to return in the future. Thank you for a great family day.

This place was so much fun! Let's start with arrival.. The site area is clean and you are welcomed in by a member of staff. The drive to the top was a squeeze, but one there you are greeted with the zip wire, giant swing and go karting. We soon realised that EVERYTHING was book online. After a bit of help from staff we were up and ready to go with our colour coded wrist bands 1st off the zip line. Suitable for all ages - the staff ensured each person was weighed and the harness etc altered to accommodate limit for this is approx 18st. 2nd Go karting. The staff ensured the group "family groups" all accessed the safety talk and briefing. The staff were polite, knowledgeable and showed genuine care for safety. The Go Karting experience itself was fantastic and suited my family of 2 adults, 3 children aged 14,10,7. Last and not least- The aqua park What an experience. You NEED a decent level of fitness/upper body strength as I very quickly found out. But the well trained, very attentive life guards helped VERY quickly. I am majorly impressed with their ability to negotiate the equipment and help out quickly. Overall it was a super, family friendly experience. ADRENALINE QUARRY!!!!
