Absolutely a tremendous and fantastic little place to visit, which is dedicated to Owls and other Birds of Prey. The Sanctuary rescues Wild Owls, Birds of Prey and other wild animals that come to harm in the wild and do an amazing and diligent job of doing rehabilitation on them to allow them to be released back into the wild, which is great as it allows the animals to have a second chance in the wild where otherwise there would be a likelihood they would end up dead. The Sanctuary has a range of Owls and Birds of Prey to see such as Barn Owls, Tawny Owls, Long Eared Owls, Spectacled Owls, Burrowing Owls, Little Owls, Eagle Owls, Caracaras, Steppe Eagles, Golden Eagles, Buzzards, Vultures, Ravens and Jackdaws and all of them are kept in very spacious, clean and tidy enclosures showing that the Sanctuary looks after and cares for them very well and you can also get a great glimpse of all of the Owls and Birds of Prey as well. There are some information boards at each of the enclosures with some interesting information about each of the animals and the areas of the world they are from. There is also Meerkat Kastle which houses some very cute and inquisitive Meerkats. There are also flying displays of the Owls and Other Birds at different times throughout the day where you can learn further information about them and also see them another great glimpse of them up close but also great insight of how they perform in the wild catching Prey etc. There is a gift shop on site selling a nice range of gifts at reasonable prices. There is no cafe at the attraction but there are places to eat within the Stonham Barns Shopping Area. Overall this fantastic place to visit and see beautiful Owls and Birds of Prey up close and marvel at their beauty but also support a wonderful charity for the wonderful work it does in rescuing wild animals from harm in the wild rehabilitating them and putting them back in the wild to give them a second chance. Definitely worth a visit...

This was the unexpected highlight of our visit to Suffolk. The park is neat as a pin, the birds are all clearly kept well with top notch animal husbandry, and the flying bird displays are excellent. We saw both displays and found the young women presenting to be excellent, really knowledgeable, genuinely attached to the birds, with great presentation style - entertaining and informative. We saw a range of birds flown including falcons, owls, a kookaburra and a boobook. We’re from Australia but even so we enjoyed the Aussie birds too! We didn’t get the chance to tell the presenter about the kookaburra that broke one of our windows with its beak back home. There are meerkats and porcupines and armadillos as well, and the porcupine talk is recommended. It’s quite something to see them fluffing up their spines in excitement when food is offered by the keeper. There’s a shop at reception with some nice merchandise including books about birds and cards and other gifts. There’s a chance to top up your admission fee with a donation and the sanctuary seems to do rescue work so it’s worthwhile contributing. For lunch we went out of the sanctuary to the cafe nearby - there’s a kind of village affair with shops. We were lucky enough to get a sunny summer’s day but this would be worth the visit at any time of year - clean as a whistle and...

Such a lovely family day out. It's relatively cheap to go. Staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. A new section has been added over the last year or so which almost doubles the size of the attraction. There's lots of birds to see in large, safe, clean enclosures. There are also meerkats rabbits, silver foxes and red squirrels. The new area includes a reading area with sofas and book shelves, a small play area with play house and ride on toys for little ones, a small stage and a table set up with colouring/activities and puzzles. The children completed a trail finding out the names of various owls for a prize on the way out and there's a lovely play area with equipment for various age groups. There are a few flying shows during the day and a meet and greet with the birds in training. Your ticket gets you in and out all day and if you take a picnic you could spend most of the day here. Sign your kids up to their VIP Cobweb club for free and you will get information from the owl sanctuary a couole of times a year and often a free child entry ticket too! A wonderful family attraction. They always seem to be improving it and it pleasantly surprises each time we visit. You don't need to be a bird enthusiast to enjoy a day out here! My children are 2, 4 and 8 and they all...

This is a lovely place to visit with children of all ages! My husband borrowed a wheelchair which was good on most of the terrain. The owls are gorgeous - but my favourite exhibit are the red squirrels. Be surprised to see hairy armadillos and meercats! A strange mix but it seems to work. Were disappointed to miss the weasel enclosure… apparently they were sleepy! The entrance fee is fair and you can get family tickets and also annual membership. It is the sort of place you would visit more than once for sure. They fly birds in a special arena - so look out for the times for various talks when you go in. There is a nice gift shop and the staff were all really friendly. We were there when the infamous Frankie flew off during a show! He did come back within a couple of days. There are plenty of places to eat a picnic, lots of benches and tables. One good thing is that you can come and go in the sanctuary as you please - you just have to keep your entrance bracelet to regain entrance again. The loos are outside the complex. Easy to park. When you go to the owlSanctuary there is a touristy village to visit but I wouldn’t waste my time there tbh.

Lovely Sanctuary with a variety of birds and animals. The staff are kind and helpful and clearly passionate about the wellbeing of the animals. The bird show - was incredible as they got the birds flying between the crowd so you got to enjoy them up close (so close I felt a wing touch me as the bird flew past). The lady who ran the bird show was chatty and made the show interesting and fun for the kids. Loved seeing a variety of birds not commonly used in flight displays like the Vulture and a type of Owl not seen before. No cafe on site but there are other places nearby to eat and you can bring food in and there is a picnic area. Toilets were clean and spacious. I would visit here again, they offer animal experiences for the meerkats which we are interested in doing and for £30 it’s a lot better value compared to other zoos that would charge twice that (whilst we were there was got to see someone do the meerkat experience and it looked like it would be fun to do).
