The Common is a great place for a walk. Dogs and bikes are also allowed. It is well maintained and feels very safe. The common is well signposted so you hopefully shouldn't get lost. There aren't any cafes or many large green spaces on the common so most people do not stop in one place whilst on the common. The majority pass through on foot.
