The Nower, located in Dorking, is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy some outdoor time with stunning views. The climb to the top is definitely worth the effort, as you're rewarded with panoramic vistas of the surrounding Surrey Hills. It’s a great place for a brisk walk or a leisurely picnic. The natural beauty of The Nower is its biggest draw. The area is well maintained, and there are several trails to explore, making it ideal for both casual walkers and more serious hikers. Families will appreciate the open spaces for kids to run around, and dog walkers will find it’s a perfect place to exercise their furry friends. While the climb can be a bit steep in places, it's manageable for most fitness levels. Just remember to wear appropriate footwear. Overall, The Nower is a gem in Dorking, offering a peaceful retreat and a chance to connect with nature. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's a must see destination for anyone who loves the great outdoors.

Good place for a walk with children. We went last weekend (february) in the rain. It was busy with people. Which was nice. Felt safe. We took wellies, kids took their push bikes. We had wonderful time. The paths are good. It was foggy but the bits we saw- it must be beautiful in nice, sunny day. I would say good place for buggy but prepare for lots of mud. It is buggy accessible. Car park is paid. There was a coffee van on the car park too. Definitely recommend 👌

Great spot for a nice walk with a mixture of open land, forest trails and stunning views. Lots of benches dotted around so easy to take a break every so often and take in the scenery. Excellent spot for dog walkers too with lots of space to roam around and plenty of dog bins available. Really handy location in Dorking town centre with plenty of street parking available.
