Walker Park — Attraction in Newcastle upon Tyne

Everything is broken or about to fall apart. There’s two baby swings, all the other swings were set on fire. The sand pit is full of used fireworks and vapes. (Yet parents let their kids go bare foot all the time????)

It’s the closest park so we go often but if it didn’t have the two swings my little one would hate it.

I keep seeing mentions of a cafe at the park? There’s a building there but genuinely never seen it open in the 10years I’ve lived in the area.

And the skate park is always full of glass and...

This has to b the worst park in the northeast, and it’s my local park where I take my kids... the one star is actually having somewhere to take my kids. Taking away 4stars as there is no SLIDE... yes that’s right “NO SLIDE”they just spent a fortune refurbishing that said park. Then missed out one vital component that all children’s play area’s should have.

Use park early, as the foul mouthed delinquents are still in there pits...

I visited here with my Daughter and Grandchildren one evening. It has plenty of activities for kids of all ages and there's a café outlet for cups of tea in the day time. It has lovely lighting which makes it look very picturesque and a little "3 goats and a troll" bridge to enact the story with young Children 😊 and there's also a small very old tree which had been struck by lighting which is a good talking point for the...
