Amazing, large beach and one of the best for surfing. Very easy to drive to with ample parking (although this gets very busy in peak season) RNLI on patrol when busy and miles of shallow water for paddling. A few places to eat on site and coffee/icecream shops. In peak season I’d recommend walking quite a bit along the beach to the left to find a a good spot rather than staying central/near the shops, as it can get very cramped once the...

Dog friendly and perfect for walking, surfing, swimming, and body boarding. The beach is very long so you can get a lovely walk, exploring the caves and all the beautiful pools. We went in summer but it was raining a windy all week so the waves were huge and the beach was a lot emptier than usual, which was perfect! The RNLI were there, and you can hire wetsuits and boards from a couple of different places...
