Visited whilst on holiday. The restuarant has lovely cosy decor with stunning views out over Watergate Bay. We were fortunate to be seated at a window table and happy that they had a childrens menu for the little ones. The staff were friendly and attentative. Unfortunately the food was very dissappointing and the price tag was high. Us two adults had one glass of wine each and shared the two curries on the specials board. Neither curry was particularly nice. One had these dahl bhaji type things as the main part and they were dry and very hard. One child had a pesto pasta dish which was so covered in pesto swimming in oil that she couldnt eat it. The other child had fish and new potatoes with brocolli. The battered fish portion was quite big and tasted nice but the potatoes and brocolli where just boiled and added to the plate. We had no starters or puddings and the bill was £85 before a tip for 2 adults...

Ostensibly, they wanted to serve the drinks with the food and hence the wait, but it just felt like the wrong ethos to me (or plain poor service, but I'll give them the benefit of doubt). Also, we had ordered tomato juice for our three year-old, but got served apple juice instead. Of course mistakes do happen, but our order was noteworthy because the waitress seemed amused by our child ordering tomato juice, so I thought it should have stuck.
