Labelled as tourist attraction, but upon arrival, it’s littered with “private property” signs. Not sure why it is labelled as a tourist attraction if you aren’t allowed to visit or go up to see the lighthouse.
Perhaps open a cafe and ice-cream stall if you’re going to advertise yourself as an attraction rather than something to go and look at for 5 minutes before moving on. Perhaps we didn’t see this because we arrived on a bank holiday and so the site was closed for that purpose, but the signage is really unwelcoming.

However the area around the lighthouse is free to roam and is a great place to visit if you like rugged landscape and dramatic sea cliffs, Rockingham beach is also close by.
