Unspoilt beach with a shipwreck. Intertidal pools have anenomies in but beware these can sting soft tissue on your legs and torso. Watch the tide times too. Access suitable for most able bodies people but very steep steps.

Beach looks great, but as of 15th April 2021 there is no access to the beach at all. The wooden steps down have been completely swept away and beach is surrounded by cliffs so there's no practical way down.

Amazingly beautiful place. As you walk down the stairs there is a waterfall to your right. The rocks are perfect for exploring and climbing as the tide goes out, but be warned; the tide turns quickly.

What a fantastic spot to enjoy some Devon sun, secluded from the normal swarms of tourists this cute, little bay offers visitors great waters to take a dip in, usually after a nice walk on this stunning coastline. However, the only trouble is the way from the Tarka trail onto the beach, the stairs leading down to this retreat collapsed so you have to take a risky manoeuvre down a cliff- like slope but when you dive in to the turquoise water you know it is...

A great beach, access is a bit tricky but my other half (80 this year) managed it. Probably difficult with small kids, or in wet weather, but it's a rugged location which is part of the charm of the place. Re-instating the wooden steps up the crumbling cliff and the various concrete structures would obviously be very expensive and may not be a high priority for the National Trust. A lot of plastic on the beach, we took a bagful...

Beautiful secluded beach with shipwreck. Crystal clear waters but lots of tiny broken down plastic which is sad to see. Rubbish routinely collected when left in a pile at the top of the steps, a bin would be good here so it...
