Played here last year 4 times in 7 days trip. Great course. Only a year earlier and the green fee has inflated, just go when your golf is good to justify it! Tried to book online for this years trip and website is useless. 1/2 way on our 4 hour trip to Devon I call the pro shop to be told they are booked up for the next 2 months!! They won’t even offer a cancellation T time if one would become available, covid possibly being extorted again. Just a bit irritated that this was not spelt out anywhere on their website. Thankfully St Mellion and Royal north Devon are available and extremely...

The two course are hard to be beaten - absolutely in the top of what the UK has to offer

The pro shop is well stocked and the guys are extremely polite and helpful.

The same applies to the bar which serves great food

The links is beautiful but will eat you up if you don't get your tee shots in a good place - a great design and as it should be.

The wind of course plays a huge part ii it but makes each round played here different

The condition is always great depending on what weather conditions will allow for.

There are plenty of places...

Lovely golf courses, not particularly difficult to play but hard to score on, you need to know the course. Played recently, wished someone had turned the fan off first, very windy making it a real challenge. The club and courses very well presented, good practice facilities, excellent signage. Pro shop good, knowledgeable team. Only issue, in the bar, with Covid table service I seemed invisible to the barman who, when I was served, gave the impression he was doing me a favour to serve me! The only blemish on a good day but...

Wow! What a day. If you play golf and have a couple spare golf balls you don’t mind losing then make your way over to this course. What an epic experience, one of the things I appreciated most is the warm friendly welcome and service all round by every staff member I came into contact with. Reception, pro shop, club pro and bar staff. Top golf course in the UK without having to deal with poncy snobs. Thank you for the amazing visit. Golf course was impressive and condition was impeccable.

We played the East Course at Saunton, everything about it is first class, its probably the best links style course I have ever played. The condition of the course was exceptional, the hospitality shown by all the staff, great they make you feel so very welcome, especially Kevin the starter/marshal, what a great guy. Clubhouse is very good, decent food, overall a fantastic golfing experience we will definitely be back.

This has to be one of the best places in the UK to play golf. Played both courses over two days in a competition organised by NCG. You need to bring your 'A' game if you want to score well. No two holes the same and every one a challenge. Someone asked me which was my favourite course, which is like asking which is your favourite child. Food before and after was excellent.
