Pretty good experience. We took our dog for a walk here as he has sore paws and the combination of flat grassland after some overnight rain was perfect for him. Plenty of free parking space was very welcome. Quite well maintained car park but there were some pot holed areas that will need maintenance pretty soon, otherwise this would have been 5 stars. Also walking route signage could be improved as it was tricky to work out any routes. Worth a visit. Overall impression is that things have become a little tired and...

Great day out on the Letchworth Country Walk. Circa 15 miles around Letchworth, skirt around the town touching Baldock and Hitchin. Great views of the countryside and wildlife. Take on the whole walk or just part of it. The walk is fairly flat and well accessible for walking amongst trails through farms and fields, some roads need to be navigated. The local map used to navigate the course isn't to scale and many of the signposts are not the easy to find, so be prepared to make a few...

Love to take the dogs here. car parking on site but beware some of the potholesarequite deep. Lovely circular walk through woods and fields. Nice river. Great in the summer as plenty of water for the dogs to cool off in. Cattle do graze in the fields in the summer so dogs do need to be kept on a lead. There are horse stables nearby so watch out for riders. Good play area for children and some picnic tables. No...

Bike ride out with two of my children, was a nice place to ride to. Plenty of benches to sit at, although the main road is fairly close at some places, but plenty of trees and bushes to dampen the sound. Nice place, a bit of a hidden haven in between the A1M and the road to Letchworth/Baldock.
