East Runton Beach — Attraction in North Norfolk

02/10/2022 today was the surfers memorial Day there were also stalls food and surfing competitions this is an amazing place to learn to surf. A short walk along the sea front and you are in Cromer where the surf school glide surf is situated Ben and his instructors are always available for lessons in sups and surfing although it is worth booking in advance just to make sure there is space you can view his webcam on glidesurf.co.uk just to get an idea of the beach back to East Runton the local shop is a TARDIS from beach toys grocery fresh produce and not extortionate prices which we come to expect at holiday / seaside destinations there is a chippy a pub a restaurant and holiday caravan sites and a ample carpark gravel / grass toilet block recycle bins under cover sitting area the beach is sand and pebble stones and sea spotless beach friendly locals good WiFi supplied by sites when it comes to surf time you see the locals turn up during dinner hour overall an amazing place peace quiet and...

We regularly visit the beach here, and it’s perfect for us. There is a decent size car park, we’ve always been able to find a space even in the height of summer. Unfortunately it looks like the car park price has gone up, however it’s still worth it for us. There’s clean toilets by the car park. It’s a short but relatively steep walk down to the beach. It’s mostly sandy, but with some rock pools. The sea is usually excellent for bodyboarding or on a calmer day, for sea swimming. It’s very clean too and we’ve barely seen any litter. We used to love going to coffee corner, which was near the car park but unfortunately it’s closed now which is such a shame as we used to enjoy going here a lot. But still, highly...

Really lovely beach ! It was really clean, no rubbish.

The sand was so nice ! There's a small stream running down to the sea, my daughter loved playing in that water more than the sea, I suppose it was warmer, slow running and clear.

You can see Cromer from this beach, the entrance to this beach was VERY steep, u can choose between the slope or the steps, I found the slope quicker !

There's a corner shop, chip shop, toilets and a pub at the top. Also a car park which sometimes has an ice cream van. All of these are at the top of the rather steep hill/steps
