A fantastic day out! Very enjoyable experience with very helpful, understanding staff. (Below is some info that might help out if you're disabled) I'm a Paraplegic (Paralysed from the chest down), but this wasn't an issue as they have a Kart that has been specifically adapted to be operated by hand controls. Instead of a normal steering wheel, it's got handle bars (like from a push-bike). The left brake lever is still the brake, but the right "brake" lever acts as the throttle. There is also a thumb activated throttle if you find that more comfortable. Throughout the course I found I was using both the lever and thumb throttle depending on the direction of the bend in the track. It worked great. In terms of the Kart itself, other than the handle bar, it's the same as the others, so no issues there. Your legs are held in place with elastic straps with some padding. If you are susceptible to pressure sores, I would recommend you bring your own cushion to sit on, as the seat is made from a hard plastic. In terms of transferring into the Kart, for the first session, I just got some of my family and some of the staff to lift me in, which worked fine. But having discussed transfer techniques with one of the owners (I didn't catch his name, sorry), during my first session he was busy in his workshop creating a transfer platform that we could try in the second session. In no time, he had built a platform on legs that attaches to the back of the kart that is the same height as my wheelchair. I could then transfer onto this platform, swing my legs around, and then lower myself into the kart seat (with some help from my brother to position my feet as I was lifting). Getting out was simply the reverse. Where I would lift myself onto the platform, swing my feet around, and then transfer back into my wheelchair. This worked so much better, and it was so kind of the owner to sort this out for me. He says that he will further develop the platform to add some padding, so it can be used by others with disabilities to help transfer. They really could not have been more helpful and went out of their way to make it accessable. It was really great to see. I hope that was helpful, and a big thank you to the guys as KartTrack!

The track is small but enjoyable to drive and the staff are friendly and help you get better at this circuit. The karts go about 40mph and are incredibly even. These karts require you to be smooth on the throttle, brake and handling, to get the most out of them. I've been to this circuit for a number of years and always had a great time - I just went recently and won the event I took part in, which was great. I then received one of the amazing trophies that they have on offer - they look incredible and are different to many different circuits around. Remember be smooth with the karts and most importantly have a good time! They've resurfaced the track which means that it's not like ice in the wet, meaning it's more controllable and fun to slide round the corners. Makes it easier for Amateurs to get to know the circuit and feel like they are improving each lap.

My husband and I have been here THREE TIMES. We have loved it every single time. Karttrak Cromer staff are brilliant at clearly explaining the rules of the track in order to keep all drivers safe. They are firm but fair to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun time. They are also helpful and respectful. Their covid regulations are clear and easy to follow and they put me at ease. I am always a little nervous when I come to the track but because of the briefing beforehand, I always feel confident and safe on the track. Today for the first time ever, I beat my husband's best lap time and made it to the top of the leaderboard. Unbelievable! Girl power!

Good facilities but although initially friendly staff obviously do not all follow the same rules as first explained. 6 on the track including 2 young ladies no bumper car action but after the first race two of the lads were warned for contact that happened through overtaking manoeuvres so next race were more careful although there was one warning through overtaking again but nobody hurt and no damage caused and raced for the full duration but staff were overheard saying that one of the marshals was in a bad mood and being harsh yet at the end of the second race the two lads were told they could not race again and the marshal with the bad mood wanted to stop everyone including the two young ladies and we were told the two lads had been given a final or last warning after the first race which they were definitely NOT. We all pointed this out but were ignored and they denied it insisting that they were given final warnings which again they were NOT. The lads left in a bad mood and after swearing wheelspan out of the carpark which was wrong of them but after paying £49 each and being treated so unfairly induced their behaviour. The staff were not interested in anything we had to say and when we finished we were ignored and not thanked for our custom even though nobody else was deemed not to have done anything wrong. A disappointing outcome and very expensive given the unfair treatment. If you have some young lads that are given lap times and track records in comparison could have expected some eager competition do not use this event as your likely to spend a lot of money and be pulled out. All this because a marshal in a bad mood didn't judge...
