This place is stunning! Blakeney is a treasure to Norfolk that a lot are not aware of. If you're looking for somewhere to go for a light hike then look not further!

With an efficient cafe and great facilities Blakeney makes for a wonderful day out. With the choice of either hiking along the, occasionally boggy, seafront or using the well maintained paths to walk to the quaint town you'll not be disappointed.

I would advise that you bring hiking boots or Wellington's if you're planning on walking the seafront areas as outside of the summer months it...

Ideal location if you want to go and see some seals. Two different types of seals are found here and are found and different times of the year so check before coming. Tickets relatively cheap and don't need to pre book can just turn up. There are only a few seal trips a day due to tides so make sure this is scheduled into your planning. Would recommend bringing a raincoat or towel as can get sprayed on the boats. The national trust carpark has a small shop selling a limited range of food and drink and there are...

First came here as a kid on a geography field trip, that was 35 years ago -- the memory has stayed with me. having navigated the purchase of a boat ticket, then eventually boarding the boat (in Morston), it was overcast and foggy.. Then wow, what a site to see the Seals! Just incredible. Whoever said dogs in sleeping bags, haha was not too far from the truth. Be sure to consider a drop off and walk back -- but be aware of the distance, 5 miles is a long walk...

Very enjoyable visit to Blakeney (Morston). Glorious views across the estuary with so much bird life and a beautiful view of the old lifeboat house on the spit if you walk along the coast path. Seal trips can be taken from the harbour at Morston (not NT) at about £35 for a family - these depart in a 3 hour window before high tide as the estuary is just mud flats at low tide. Try booking these the day before as they are popular.

A lovely walk. We parked at Blakeney and took the route around to the neighboring village Cley next the Sea. It's not an excessively long walk and the path is well kept. Lovely scenery and lots of wildlife, if you have some binoculars you should definitely bring them along. Both villages either side of the nature reserve have a number of amenities and free parking.
