Salthouse Heath — Attraction in North Norfolk

Great walk up cross street salthouse to the crossroads then up onto the heath through the archway/tunnel of gorse bushes. Wonderful place for watching the wildlife or visiting the remains of the radar station in the corner that a ww2 aircraft hit the mast in fog. And all crew died a very sad place. there's a small car park on the heath on the left up bard hill from purdy...

Lovely spot to look over the coast and countryside around. Loads of tracks to go off and explore the heathland and the old radar station worth a look.

Just beware some very inconsiderate dog walkers seem to use area and not pick up...
