We visited Wild Woods for the first time at the weekend and absolutely loved our time there. It was the perfect way to spend 50 minutes with our reactive dog. We usually book fields so it was nice to find something new as we're not comfortable going anywhere where there is likely to be off lead dogs running around. We felt completely secure and comfortable there. I haven't taken any stars off for this as I'm unsure if it's anything to do with the owners of Wild Woods (wouldn't be fair to mark it down if it isn't down to them), but as much as we loved our time in the woodland I'm unsure if we are going to book again as the road leading to it was horrendous (and I wasn't expecting perfect roads at all). We weren't in a small car but the road/potholes scraped the bottom of our car 5 times and could've potentially caused damage. If it wasn't for that I would have booked several return...
Read moreDon't allow ddb's or xl bullies which is a shame. Yes you allow them at your other field but there's a massive difference between an open field to run through or woodlands to run through its the 1 thing my pooch loved before the ban n she can no longer do it. Updating the review as I can't fault your response I really do hope one day you'll be able to change the rules to allow bullies as I'd love nothing more than to bring my pooch along and have a good run around the woodlands with her even if it meant having to pay that bit extra for her I'd happily do that. It's just a shame so many people and bullies have been let down by this country over a few bad eggs. And I'm with you on that it's disgusting how many people have failed...
Read moreAmazing secure woodland to let our dog off lead. He's a nervous reactive boy so being off lead in the peaceful woods really helped him de-stress and enjoy his walk. There's no traffic or busy road nearby so was quiet. Fences seemed secure, ours wouldn't escape but it's comforting to know. The woodland is lovely, full of healthy trees, the path created is natural and was dry for us, not muddy. This is a hidden gem and I hope it's here to stay! Instructions for entry were very clear too. One thing to bear in mind, upon entrance to the woods it is a 1/2 mile off road track, so expect some pot holes and an extra 7ish mins to get down the road to the place. Will definitely be back again and have already recommended the place to...
