Plenty of parking.... Either at UEA, off Road by church... carpark opposite Waitrose at Cringleford (walk under the under pass to the woods) or parking near the Hospital, through woods.

Spacious green park with Dog friendly Cafe to sit in or out. Beautiful river that you can have a padde in. A couple of Picnic benches too. Walking along the river or around the path leads you to a beautiful wood which then leads you to the Lake. You have options to just walk around the lake it go over the bridge depending which way you came to go all the way back to cafe or carry on for a longer walk around the lake back to the cafe....there is another path that leads you to horses and back round to the lake.. whichever way you came in you can do a round trip... Taking you about an hour or more to walk round. Highly recommended for dog walkers. Plenty of bins. Lovely open spaces all the way round and places where you can throw a ball in the river or lake for dogs to fetch...then have a coffee or breakfast lunch sandwich or chips after....they do sausages for dogs and dog treats too!! Please remember to TAKE YOUR RUBBISH home with you or use the...

What a wonderful place for a walk!! Looking forward to seeing the wisteria bloom all over the manor house, now owned by UEA and part of their law campus. Gardens are open to the public, including the gorgeous Dutch Garden, the wooded area, and the open fields. You can walk all the way around the outside of the house, and then down to the river where you can walk to the marshes. Parking is free for 2 hours at the Earlham Park car park, where they also have (paid) electric chargers. Students and staff are not able to park here so it’s just for the general public to use, next to the Enterprise Centre.

The park is vast and dog friendly, plenty of bins. I wish there were more benches and places to sit, but if you don’t mind bringing your own blanket there are plenty of places you can sit on the ground. As it’s big, it doesn’t get too busy when the weather is nice, but the car park does get full quickly. There’s a little cafe which is great for a cuppa, also dog friendly - Earlham Cafe.

All in all, wonderful leafy wooded park, great to explore, child and dog friendly. Very tranquil...

Earlham Park holds a special place in our hearts. We used to visit regularly when our kids were growing up in Norwich, and it was always a highlight of our weekends. The open green space, beautiful trees, and peaceful riverbank made it the perfect spot for family picnics, bike rides, and simply letting the kids be kids. They especially loved playing by the river and exploring nature. Even now, every visit brings back so many cherished memories. It’s a well-maintained park, great for all ages, and a true gem in the heart of Norwich. Highly recommend it for families, walkers, or anyone looking to relax in a lovely natural setting.

Went to the foodies festival and had sister sledge not played I really would have felt a bit cheated on the entrance ticket. Many food stalls sell average food at pretty rich prices. Got loaded veggie fries from one vendor which was £10. It came with coleslaw and packet cheese sauce and crispy onion. Not going to name the vendor. After the £5 parking, food and drink (bubble tea £6, which was nice), 2 of us spent north of £70 and could have had much better value with a pub lunch. More free stuff please if you're going to charge that much.
