Walking through Pingot Quarry can be a fascinating experience. As you enter, you'll notice the high walls of the quarry towering above you, showcasing the stunning layers of rocks that have been excavated over the years.

As you continue walking, you'll notice the many openings in the walls of the quarry, evidence of former mining efforts. The path winds through the quarry, taking you past huge piles of rocks and boulders that have been extracted from the site.

If you're lucky, you may come across some of the quarry's resident wildlife, such as birds, squirrels, or even deer that roam the area.

As you walk further, you may come across a glistening pond, surrounded by verdant vegetation. This area is a great spot to rest, relax, and enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings.

One of the highlights of walking through Pingot Quarry is the stunning views of the surrounding landscape. From the high vantage points, you can see the entire region, with the rolling hills and fields stretching out for miles.

Overall, walking through Pingot Quarry is an unforgettable experience that is perfect for nature lovers, hikers, and anyone who appreciates the beauty of the...

Lovely place to visit it is a bigger place than I first had expected so lots to see you can come back on multiple occasions which is what I intend to do the kids loved a walk in nature lovely scenery which never ends. Just make sure you have your walking shoes on as the paths are rather rocky definitely wouldn't be able to push a pram along the paths so maybe a sling for the baby if you have one. It would be lovely on a summers day sunshine birds singing absolutely...

Nice serene area, wet weather brings more drama at the waterfall but still lovely on a sunny day! Plenty of prime spots for a picnic! Decent accessible paths around the local area. Free parking with plenty of spaces. Much to explore, woodlands, moorland and the quarry. Lovely vistas of the local area too, well worth a visit if you are in the area! Even if you aren’t so much beauty here and in the...
