THE PARK INN — Restaurant in Oldham

Family of four . Two adults two children. Walked in and walked to the bar .. ordered drinks and mentioned we would like to eat. We was guided to a table and left. No menu given to us or any menus on our table. After a while I walked to the bar for the menu. Ordered food main meals only. The pub, restaurant was not busy at all. The table across from us sat a lady and man they ordered food 10 mins after us! After 30 mins my children started to become fed up and impatient. The table across from us walked out! 45 mins later still no food. I asked about our meals and she told me we are just waiting on the chips! The service was unbelievable. No communication at all. She then after 55 mins brought my meal out. I asked if my Children’s meals are ready she said I will go find out. I wasn’t gonna start eating in front of my children when they didn’t receive their meals. When the meals arrived for my children mine was burly warm. The chef was Lacking on timing when cooking food! I would have understood if the pub/restaurant was very busy but it wasn’t. I will not be returning. Shame because the food was ok. The time and service let’s The...

Twice on consecutive Sundays we have visited under the new management! All I can say is what fabulous food and service! Honest the Sunday roast, in particular the lamb is amazing, it’s the minted gravy that does the trick!

Whilst I can appreciate the new owners are still working on things, you can even see the difference after a week! I’d prefer people with dogs not be on the same side as those eating. I would like to see it be easier to book a table!

Well done to all at the Park Inn, I am looking forward to seeing the end result of all the hard work that you can see is being done.

I would like to comment on the ladies, i absolutely love how you’ve tried to make it pleasant and absolutely love that there is free sanitary products available, amazing!

Overall I would go as far as to say it’s the best Sunday roast locally!

I have visited the park inn on a few different occasions, and the safe always seem friendly and helpful. They serve a good point of john smiths and the food is absolutely beautiful. They also had karaoke on when I visited and it was a really good night everyone seemed to enjoy it and the music was a verity of everything the dj seemed to play for the audience. The new land lady was also there and she was so warm and welcoming and I felt at ease as soon as I entered. I would highly recommend this pub because there ain't many like this any more and...
