Fantastic beach thats wide and stretches for as far as the eye can see . You have to park in the National Trust car park that has a cafe , free parking for NT members and £5 for all day , hourly rates as well . Its a steady climb back up to the car park after youve gone 100m downhill to the beach . There is a small turning circle nect to the beach for emergency vehicles only but i did see cars dropping off beach bits & kids , very quickly and then returning to car park and again when picking up . But its a single road so i would imagine in the summer its a bit of a hotspot so could get very congested and who woild want to be blockjng sn ambulance! We went in October and it was wonderfully quiet caf park got very busy when we left about 11am but theres an overflow car park as well ....

But don't get caught out, make sure you keep an eye on the tide and...

Local food and good produce that is really nice. National trust owns one side and the council the other. Brilliant rock exposures of slump folded turbidites for the geologist, excellent rock contacts to see! The sea is amazing here, nice and clear. Bring your dog and keep it under good control and clean up after it and no one will care. National trust car park is free to members. Brilliant walks through the woods...
