Lovely secluded beach just off the coastal path if you head left from Llangrannog. We parked in the free car park just a 10 min walk from the bottom of Llangrannog, and headed up past the statue of Sant Crannog himself and onto the coastal path. Good for fitness as a bit up & down, and after about half an hour in total the last bit to access the beach is a scramble down rocks which my daughter struggled with - need trainers or decent shoes really.    Read moreThe rope for the cliff access ( near the bridge) is now gone. Going down here is now inadvisable. It's far better (and safer) to access the bridge via the field at the other side of the beach. Go slow.
A stunning beach. I just hope the constant posting in the Observer etc doesn't bring in too many to ruin it.
Please do not attempt to drive your car into the fields near the beach, as some have sadly tried to do now it is publicised. Not only is it disrespectful, it's dangerous.

   Read moreReally difficult to get down to the beach, probably more so to get up. The last bit to get down involves getting down a slab of sloping smooth rock, without many foot holds, so bare this in mind if you're thinking of investigating this beach. But if you do get on the sand you're in for a treat, as it gets so few visitors, you'll probably be on your own. There's a large rock outcrop in the bay which has a sizeable cave worth exploring.
