Just returned home 1 day early from holiday in SONIA the boat, which is part of the B&B. This is advertised by various letting agents. Worst holiday of our lives, The pictures on letting site looked amazing hence really looking forward to our trip. We could not believe the state of the boat and converted barn when we arrived. Both have been left to rot after their renovation in 2012. See the pictures I have posted and you will understand. After 2 night's we had to sleep in the barn which turned out to be no better. Both were damp and moldy. We had to buy air fresheners which made no difference to the smell. As we are keen walkers we stayed out for most of the day and dreaded returning back, the beautiful countryside is what saved our holiday. Too many other things to mention here but avoid this place like the plague, perhaps that's what the smell was.

I felt I had to add a very belated review in defence of Amanda and her lovely home/business, after reading a very unfair review which unfortunately holds a prime position with photographs on this site. Some time back in 2014/15 my wife and I were stuck for accomodation after walking out of our booking at at a hell-hole of a hotel a few miles nearer to Cardigan. We pulled into a Londis petrol/supermarket on the main coast road and asked if they knew of any good B&B's in the area. They suggested we tried Mandy's establishment and gave us her mobile number. We called her straight away. She was out on errands, but asked us to wait there a while and she'd 'collect' us on her return...and follow her to the B&B. Impressed by her helpfulness at such short notice, we duly followed along the lanes to her lovely house in an equally lovely setting. She ...and her sister, who was staying at the time ( after a return from Australia if I remember rightly ) were more than welcoming and made us feel completely comfortable , giving us the use of their private lounge and providing us with a very comfortable room and a fabulous breakfast the next morning. We spent the morning on a secluded beach in a cove just a short walk away across the headland from the end of their garden before returning for lunch at nearby Llangranog bay. We stayed for two nights in that tranquil setting and very much enjoyed our stay, even having evening drinks with the sisters in the garden behind the house. Amanda is a very warm and genuine host and has a presence, charm, and humour that only a good upbringing and education can provide. Her home is comfortable, lived in and characterful.....so if you like grey and white modernism full of glass and chrome, it's not for you......and Mandy would most likely not hesitate to say the same. If you're, what I call, 'proper people' then it'll be right up your street ....it's great.....and no, I'm not any...

We booked the B&B and barn cottage in Oct 19, as a surprise break for my Mom. As kids in the 70’s, we’d had a few family holidays at Morfa Isaf, we even got our first dog there as a puppy to their family pet, but for no reason, hadn’t been back for many years. It made a big impression on us, though, because we never forgot Beryl and Basil’s family.|Thankfully for us and everyone else who has had the pleasure to visit Morfa Isaf, Mandy has taken on the mantle from her parents. We’ve never experienced a more warm, giving and enjoyable host. Yes, the B&B was charming, the cottage was amazing, the breakfasts were fantastic and the setting is beautiful, but it really was Mandy that made our break so enjoyable. She is really thoughtful and has that knack of making you feel like you’ve been friends for years. She not only did her hosting duties admirably, she made time to chat and even entertain us musically. It really was a pleasure. It was lovely to see Beryl too. We honestly can’t recommend enough this lovely farm and it’s host. We had some breathtaking walks down to the little cove and along the cliffs, there’s loads of places of interest to visit locally and amenities within a short drive. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, a family break, a wildlife experience or just a unique (Welsh) experience, this is the place for you. We look forward to our next...

We had a lovely stay at Morfa Isaf Farm. Mandy is so welcoming, charming and extremely helpful. If you love character in the places you stay and informality then this is definitely for you. We love getting away from it all and as this place is a bit out of the way down narrow, windy lanes, it was perfect, peace and tranquillity yet only a 5 minute drive from Llangranog beach. The farm has it's own PRIVATE cove a fairly short walk away but BEWARE the descent is not for the faint hearted and certainly an adventure but soooo worth it...absolutely beautiful and we were the only ones on this hidden gem, magical! She now only takes a max of four guests (2 bedrooms) at a time and as it was myself and my husband and our son we had the place to ourselves! The double bed in our room was extremely comfortable and Mandy does a fantastic job with the breakfasts so much so we didn't need to eat at lunch!! It was like staying with family or good friends and we very much loved the place and it's owners. Thank you so much Mandy for helping us out and making our stay extremely comfortable...
