A lovely small village to visit.There is a Roman fort there.Not much is left but diagrams do show what it would of looked like.You can not longer get down to the river bank as hog weed is growing along parts of this.Limited access along the foot path,not suitable for disabled or people with limited walking along the foot path.There is a pub in the village which is open for business.A nice place to visit as some lovely cottages etc...
