Porlock Beach — Attraction in Porlock

Absolutely stunning!!! Outstanding beauty, stumbled across this beach whilst on an evening drive and was amazed to find this gorgeous gem hidden in the exmoor (one of the many gems hidden in the exmoor). The atmosphere was so peaceful and there seemed to be a fair bit going on, a nice looking hotel and some kind of surf school so well worth a visit. The water quality is extremely good compared to places like Minehead beach and blue anchor up the road (but don't get me wrong Minehead and blue anchor are also wonderful :) would recommend this place to anyone, just bare in mind it's a very narrow wooded road...

Lovely little village with a beautiful view. We attended on the day there was a local festival so the menu options at the beach hotel were very restricted, basically pizza. But I have to say it was lovely pizza. Now I'm really not a pizza fan, in fact my heart sunk when they said about the menu. However, it was freshly made stonebaked oven pizza. A word of caution beware of the car park the auto-pay on the app does not work if you rely on this you will get fined .Big stones no sand and like carlsberg probably the world's most expensive carpark which camper vans seem to struggle to get in and out of so use the exit as an entrance and the entrance as an exit the town has a couple of overpriced pubs and that's about it I would avoid it if you can if your planning on doing a coastal path walk park in Porlock much cheaper and...
