A fantastic day at The Westmorland County Show! I had a brilliant time attending the show today. The weather was dramatic—swinging between torrential downpours and glorious sunshine more times than I could count—but it didn’t dampen the experience.
The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with so much to see and do. I especially enjoyed visiting the animal exhibits and sampling the delicious local food. The Sheep Show was a definite highlight—entertaining and informative!

Read moreGreat Day out Something for everyone, pedigree cattle, sheep, poultry, etc... pedigree dog show, terrier show, shown horses in hand, ridden classes, jumping classes. Westmoreland wrestling. Stalls selling everything from, farm and country machinery, plant stalls, clothing stalls, tools etc. Plenty of food outlets and toilets. If you decide to go or even enter the show, they have downloads available online a couple of months before the show, remember to set off early and give yourself plenty of time. And for those that want to have a greater understanding and respect for British Family Farming then this is the place to visit! Incredible!
