It's a nice enough place to take the kids if the weather permits. It's not a big place, you take a walk round to look at the animals, kids can buy feed and feed the animals, there's a trampoline, pony rides, tractor ride takes you out to a field, theres also a quad ride where you sit on a trailer and be pulled by a farm quad bike. There's a pets area where the kids can sit and hold a rabbit. All the stuff you'd expect. It has a cafe that's nice and clean and a chocolate shop. There's no indoor picnic area and the gift shop is pretty rubbish really, there's not much in there at all. I can't help but feel a bit sorry for the animals though, there were 2 ponies at the pony rides presumably to swap them so neither one is doing all the work but when they weren't carrying the kids, they were still stood around tied up. Holding the rabbits, though they were very cute and calm, they were just passed round for quite a long time. One even got dropped by one of the visitors and was just picked up by the staff member and passed to someone else. I'd love to know how often the rabbits are rotated and given a break. The kids had a...

Very lovely sheep and goats that can be petted and fed, as well as a few rabbits to hold. Other than that, you can see some pigs, and go on a tractor ride.
The tractor ride felt like the least child-friendly aspect of the place. It took almost an hour to do a loop around a pretty small area, with 2 ten-minute stops to look at a couple of cows and talk for far too long about all the varieties of birds you can sometimes see in the area but not usually (and this was in very cold, very windy, rainy weather). Many young kids on board were frustrated, having meltdowns, and even wet themselves because of how long it took (would suggest either a shorter ride with a single, shorter stop or clear warnings about how long the ride will take).
Staff are friendly and the hot...
Read moreThe drive to the park has many narrow roads, but once you get to the road that the park is on, the views are phenomenal!
The gentleman whom we purchased our tickets from was very polite and knowledgeable, if not a little quiet for my hearing.
My daughter of 2, almost 3 years of age was given the opportunity to hold the bunnies and bottle feed the lamb, which made her extremely happy!
We didn't visit the children's play area as it was quite cold, didn't want to get too sandy and feared our little girl was a bit too fragile for the huge bouncy pillow, maybe in a year or 2.
The cafe was nice, with nice cakes and 2 speedy, efficient little helpers clearing tables.
I wouldn't say it's an all day thing, we spent about an hour and a half there, well worth the entrance fee for the look on her face when she was holding the bunny.
Overall, we had some lovely family time, we picked the perfect,...
