Really nice place to hangout. Lots of dog walking and the associated annoyance but generally well behaved. Excellent views of the river lynher and tamar. During the right times of year you can pick hawthorns, black berries, haws, damsons and crab apples. Fishing by the river is beautiful although it is a long way to drag all your gear. Bass and pollock can be taken there as well as cod and other winter fish. Mostly do well with worms. Careful of closed fields due to farming reason s and pay attention to the tide times if venturing to the river. I do recommend a view of the viaduct from down by the river but then that's cos I like that...

It has some over zealous wardens, it is a nature reserve, so if walking dogs here be sure to read the many, many signs at the entrances telling you what you cant do.
