OK, so it's Christmas Day. Lunchtime. Myself, my wife and my brother head to the cwcil for a drink. Go into Bar..it's packed. We're in there for a couple of minutes when a member of staff approaches us and tells us this is a private party and we need to leave by the back door. No poster saying private function, door to bar was unlocked. Just looked like a busy Christmas lunchtime in the pub. Now, obviously the Cecil has every right to hold a private function, but it.may well have been an idea to.put a sign up saying so and perhaps lock the door to make it obvious.
